    • Installation:
    untar the tar files somewhere.
    as root: copy the font files (*.pcf.gz) in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc, /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi and /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi, respectively.
    in all those directory run mkfontdir.
    as user run xset fp rehash, or restart X.

    Check with xfontsel if you have now iso8859-16 and/or iso8859-2 fonts.
